We will leave from Namaqua, go out 1st St. until we reach County Road 29. We'll follow CR 29 (Green Glade Reservoir, Sunrise Ranch) until we come to CR27 and then on to Masonville. At Masonville, we will go East on CR 38 (up and over Horesetooth) until, we connect with the bike trail @ Cathy Fromme. We'll follow the bike trails all the way to Namaqua.
There is no better way to see Colorado than by bicycle. if you've never gotten to experience cycle touring, this 2 day ride is a perfect introduction!
Day 1: Depart from Loveland and ride on some familiar roads to Hygiene. The fun begins after that as you explore some new roads and paths on our way to Boulder and eventually to Superior for the night.
Day 2: We'll leave our hotel rooms by 10am and head to the cozy town of Louisville. Eventually we will be riding on paths, (some will be good fine gravel that is okay for skinny tires), as we wind up in Niwot. We'll head to the outskirts of Longmont before returning to familiar roads as we cycle back to Loveland.
Distances for each day of riding is less than 40 miles.
